LONDON LIVE COMEDY
London live comedy: Soho's Saturday night live comedy event
is now at the Arts Theatre Club on Frith Street

Soho-Ho, Soho's favourite Saturday night live comedy event, has
moved from Dean Street's The Crown and Two Chairmen pub to the cosy
environment of the Arts Theatre Club on Frith Street, Soho. The
aim of the move was to give comedy lovers even more for their money.
As well as enjoying the hilarious, rib-knocking stand-up comedy
acts, punters can continue drinking and dancing at the club until
3am.
Soho-Ho's organiser, Pete Cracknell, decided to leave behind 15
years of comedy history at The Crown and Two Chairmen, and move
Soho's favourite Saturday night stand-up comedy to the next stage,
"We were very excited about the move. Even though Soho-Ho has been
in Dean Street for 15 years, we felt that the club needed to move
into an exciting new era; offering punters even more, whilst retaining
the intimate atmosphere".
For 15 years Soho-Ho had been giving punters some of the funniest
comedy acts in London, all from a small room above The Crown and
Two Chairmen pub in Soho. Many well-known comedians have made Soho-Ho
part of their regular comedy circuit and many prefer to play at
Soho-Ho than any other comedy club in London. Over the years, the
Saturday night comedy bills have included: Ricky Gervais, Eddy Izzard,
Harry Hill, Noel Fielding, Phil Nichol, Nick Revel, Chambers and
Nettleton, Hattie Hayridge, Martin Davis, Robin Ince and Julia Morris.
The next Soho-Ho stand-up comedy night is
Saturday 10th January 2004. The line-up includes: Howard
Read, Nick Revell, Graham Anthony and Simon Happily. Book your tickets

Soho-Ho's live comedy event at Frith Street's Arts Theatre Club
gives comedy lovers the funniest acts in London within a fantastic
venue. The Arts Theatre Club stays open throughout Saturday night
and into Sunday morning. After the comedy, there's an 80s disco
and a late bar until 3am. So you can start the evening with a thorough
chuckle-muscle workout and then revisit the hits of the 80s; partying
the night away with some of the friendliest people in London.
During our recent visit, Pete told us that Ricky Gervais will be
making unannounced appearances at Soho-Ho. And he may even be doing
exclusive secret gigs that only email subscribers will be told about.
Apparently, Ricky Gervais likes to test his new material on Soho-Ho's
Saturday night audience. Now there's something you can't miss.
