A GREENER CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION FOR ALL THE FAMILY

1. Take large cardboard boxes in the back of the car instead of carrier bags, fill with the light weight stuff from your Christmas shopping.
2. Give the peelings from your Chritmas dinner vegetables to a neighbours pet rabbit or local allotment.
3. Buy rechageable betteries for all the kids chritmas presents saving the planet and saving you money too.
4. Save the gift tags from the presents you open for next year.
5. Dont leave the tree lights on all the time as well as a fire hazard especailly at night time set it on a timer.
6. Send Christmas ecards to your family and friends with pcs instead of buying everyone christmas cars its fun especially the animated ones plus you are doing your bit to cut down on your carbon footprint.
7. If you know of a few lonely people this christams who would eat a Chrismats dinner on there own make if a fab and fun afair and share the food all decide to bring something and let everyone have dinner at yours (if you have the room)
8. Use cloth napkins,and table cloths at the dinner table instead of buying throw away ones. Pay the kids a pound each to do the washing up whilst you put your feet up for a change.
9. Have a non drinker available give him/her tips to run everyone home after the festivities, fill up the car full of people instead of one going home alone etc. that way they become richer without spoiling the fun and you all save petrol and reduce carbon emmissions.
10. Recycle all your Christmas waste.
11. Walk everywhere over the festive period to keep yoursevles not only fitter and healthier but cutting down on short car journeys too.
